New Years at Dana Harbour (click the pics for larger view)



i got hella close to this bird. hella close. he flapped his wings a few times like he was thinkin' about flying away, but i caught 'im rite when he was settled down. awww:-)





this was just beautiful. i know i took a pic of this section of the beach *slightly to the right this time* just last post, but it deserved another :-)






next, i ventured down to look at the tide pools. that's a sea anemone^ he's so cute! =D





i don't know how i missed these last time. hella muscles.







this time, i went further down the beach. i would have gone this far last time, but there wasn't enough time. so this time, i was so ready to see what was out there, and i saw this^ i thought i'd never see something like that in real life -- waves pounding up against rocks and splashing hella high.




so i ventured out as far as i could, b/c i HAD to know how far i could go. well at a point, it's just some rocks that the water washes over and the cliff is right against the ocean, so there's no way to go further unless i walked in the ocean:-p but there was a cave! cool cave! this gallie invited me into it, and on the other side, you see this^





as i headed back, i looked at the sunset and snapped a few pics of that, too. Y







as i walked back, night fell, but the moon was bright before it was dark. i snapped some pics here of the moon peekin' out from behind the wall of rock that follows the whole length of the beach. and yes, the full moon did reflect off of the water. it was Yly
